Ron originally trained as an engineer but returned to university to study psychology and education. Initially working in teaching and social work, Ron was instrumental in establishing the adolescent homeless units in Sheffield that became the model for other authorities throughout England. Ron is an expert in identifying how people interact with one another in the workplace.
Jim has over 20 years of working with CEOs and their leadership teams to implement change that helps businesses meet their goals, grow and become better at what they doimprove the benefits they offer to their customers. In common with Optimum's central tenet of all of us having operated at senior level internationally, most recently Jim was based in California as VP Global HR at a medical devices manufacturer with sales of over $1.7bn in over 100 countries, and 9,000 employees across Europe, the Americas, Asia and the Caribbean. Jim's experience also includes M&A, leading on the HR aspects of a $1.2bn acquisition, which was successfully integrated within 12 months.
